Two cases of athyrotic cretinism, One month old female infant and 11 month old boy, were presented. In both cases thyroid scintigrams revealed no functioning thyroid tissues. We made diagnosis by clinical features as well as thyroid scintigram, X-ray survey for boner age and skeletal maturation and biochemical studies. Bartter’s Syndrome is rare disease and characterized by hypokalemic and hypochloremic metabolic alkalosis, hyperreninism, and secondary aldosteronism with hyperplasia of juxtaglomerular apparatus, but without edema or hypertension. We had experienced a case of Bartter’s syndrome, who presented the most of above mentioned characteristics.
